The Asset Mangers’ Committee is comprised of representatives from a broad array of asset managers. Its purpose is to facilitate an exchange of information between the alternative asset management community and the agencies comprising the President’s Working Group on Financial Markets.
The first task of the Committee was to develop detailed guidelines, as outlined in this report, that would define “best practices” for the alternative asset management industry.

The Investors' Committee is comprised of representatives from a broad array of investors and investor advocates. Its purpose is to facilitate an exchange of information between the investor community and the agencies comprising the President's Working Group on Financial Markets.
The first task of the Committee was to develop detailed guidelines, as outlined in this report, that would define "best practices" for investors in private pools of capital.
